Mother's Pizza - Hamilton

3rd visit here and all have been good. The family size greek salad is great value when paired with some large pizzas for a group. They also have free refills on sodas, and decent beer prices. The Canadian pizza is particularly good, as well as the Grandmother's. All 8 of us had a good time and enjoyed the food.

I went here when it first opened and it was a real tug to the memories. The most recent visit was not so great. Server was very friendly, but the food was lacking. Pizza was soggy, had to be eaten with a knife and fork! I've never had that at a Mother's before. The flavour was ok, but not enough to encourage a return. Too many other places that have good pizza. Nostalgia is not enough to encourage repeat business, so they will have to do better with the food to continue.

Great food and the service was very good a good bang for the buck my wife have been a few times now and have yet to have a bad night would recommend this restaurant

Food was above and beyond and I loved the feeling in he restaurant (clean and good music). The bread and salad came upon request and we got about 3 of each. The meals took about an hour to come which would have been horrible if we didnt have the bread and salad to tie us over. Our server was great and he always checked up on us... just wish we got our food a bit sooner, other than that I will definitely return!!!

First off, We ordered takeout so we didn't eat in but I had a good look around while I was waiting. For those of you who keep whining it's not like the "Mother's" you remember.....get over yourselves! Unless you have a Delorean and a crazy scientist friend to send you back to the 80s then accept the "Mother's" you remember is gone. Yes, I miss it too, the cool decor, the nostalgia, the ambience....whoops...I slipped back in time there for a minute. The review should be about the food, not the decor. On that note, I do think the pizza tasted very similar to what I remember. It was good and fresh. We really enjoyed it. We had a plain pizza and a couple signature pizzas and a panzerotti. The panzerotti was excellent. The signature pizzas were a bit pricy but no more than Boston Pizza so they are in keeping with what you pay elsewhere. I found the staff very friendly and the service was excellent. I wound not hesitate going back with the family to eat in. Good job Mother's!!
