Restaurant bewertenI went here with a small escort group after I should look giant sleeping in westdale (excellent film btw) Atmosphere- behind a huge wooden door, as it should be at the entrance of a medeival castle, is a disappointing entrance they go down the hall to the escort. bright, clean with retro-foodie poster on the wall nice but not at all front positions. Food started with calamari- it was nicely baked with a beautiful Aoli sauce. I liked it, but with calamari I tend to like it a bit crispy. this is my own fault that I did not ask for it to be mains in group included eggplant parm. it was exquisite. layers of aubergines, cheese and sauce. melt in your mouth. calzone much more filling than brot, that is the preferred wise for most of us. Compared to the other places in westdale thay serve them express and valentinos) this is by far the best choice. pizza that was a disappointment. not enough sauce and not enough cheese. if I asked for extra sauce (without fee) for the diving helped but if I would order again, I would ask for extra cheese and extra sauce. a bit dry
Excellent! fantastic authentic Italian cuisine. great selection, inexpensive.Service was great. back and with friends. I would recommend a reservation if they go on a Friday or Saturday.
This restaurant serves the best Italian food that rivals my mother's home cooking.
You must try the bruschetta at this restaurant - it's the most delicious you'll ever taste!
My wife and I went on 2/22. juni for birthday dinner in the restaurant. it took forever to get service. I ordered a Caesar salad as an appetizer. I only got it after the net was delivered. we had falsely thought that bread or rolls of oil and balsamico vinegar are served on the table) . on request we were offered a garlic bread that we ordered, but it was not served until after the end of our main thing. on the recommendation of the server I ordered the seafood pata with olive oil and garlic and wine. When the presentation was served, was excellent. Unfortunately, the cook forgot the garlic and the sauce was tasteless. my wife ordered the gnocchi with the bolognese? sauce. it was a disappointment. the gnocchi was only cheap filiale bought like the $1.49 items we buy at fortinos) and was under boiled . the soße was just over boiled hamburg meat without or minimal tomaten . the servers were very pleasant, but always talk out ... computer problems or kitchen problems! we had heard many positive comments from friends in the past, but we were very disappointed.
