Restaurant bewertenI had the Nova Scoatian mussels. The sauce was very good but a bit thick. The bread was very tasty and I love the atmosphere. I also like the beer selections. My date had the clam chowder and he really enjoyed it.
A friend and I visited recently after reading about Fsh
Went there with my husband for dinner, wanted to see what all the hype was about. We order the crab dip as an appetizer, it was good but I felt like the bread that came with it was over baked and hard it cut the roof of my mouth. I got the fish tacos, they were tasty and my husband got the shrimp po boy which he liked as well, just not a fan of the potato chips and coleslaw. Total came to about $50 which to me seems like a lot for pub fare. I know it's seafood and that adds a premium to the price, but I also feel your paying a premium for it being a trendy establishment.
The fish and chips were incredible. My bf had the standard batter haddock and I had the gluten friendly battered cod. The fresh cut chips were a treat. The coleslaw was perfectly creamy with a few mustard seeds. I added an piece of the old english bay corn on the cob and it was very tasty. Waitress was friendly, and the umbrellas made the hot day on the patio very pleasant.
The salad was delicious. I was pleased with how generous the toppings and amount of shrimp was on my salad. It was a nice combination of flavours like dates and apple and was not overly dressed as I usually find. My husband had the traditional fish and chips and he said it tasted comparable to those he used to eat in england. Great patio spot too and good service!
