GT Dragon Chinese Restaurant

Staff are helpful and friendly. The portion sizes are average. They have a good selection of food items on the menu. Overall, the food quality is good. I have visited all the other Chinese food restaurants in Georgetown and have found GT Dragon to be the most consistent in food quality.

Recently had to switch to this place because my favorite Chinese restaurant is now under new management. What we ordered was pretty good.

Sat on hold for 12 minutes at home. I could hear the staff (young girl at the cash) answer the other phone and take orders. So I decided to drive over while I'm "on hold" i walk in and walk up to the desk. She looks at me and asks "can I take your order?" I respond with " don't you think you should take that call first? They did call b4 i walked in." So she picks up the phone and asks can I help you? So I stood in front of her and placed my order on my cell phone. She looks up at me with a very dumb look on her face and says, oh it you. I say yes it is. I have been on hold now for over 16 min. Then she starts to give me attitude lol. "I'm busy in case you can't tell. Bahahahha So i place my order. I pay. I watch her be rude on the phone to the next 3 calls. What a twit. And now she is talking on the phone to her friend.

No idea why the reviews are so bad. Love this place! I've tried all the Chinese places in town and GT Dragon has been my favorite for years. Huge potions, reasonable prices, can't go wrong!

My mom is fussy about Chinese food, but she loves the food from GT. I really like the extra order of cheese wontons they include if you pay cash upon pick-up - they are really nice. The food is good, the establishment is clean, and they have always been great to deal with (sauce on the side, etc.).Try it - I think you will enjoy.
