Maya's Tapas Wine - Haleiwa

Don’t believe the Brussels sprouts reviewsthe worst! And the shrimp was so hot I couldn’t speak for about 5 minutes and I personally appreciate a waiter giving me a heads up on the heat. The wine wasn’t pleasant either. The “manager” responded by telling us ‘it’s her number one seller, that everyone like it and she takes hers home and makes a pasta dish out of it. She took the shrimp cost off our bill. BIG DEAL. I think she should have deleted all costs. Never again Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

The hours on Google do not match the real hours they are opened. When they told us they were closing in 15 minutes, we were told as we walked away that it wasn't their fault they were closing.....so rude. It is your fault, update your hours on Google and drop the rude attitude Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This place needs to update their online posted Google hours, to their walk up hours of operation. We excitedly walked up during posted operating hours and we were coldly turned away by the hostess. We are no longer excited to experience this place. Get it together Mayas Tapas Wine.

Dinner at Maya's was wonderful and romantic. The outdoor sitting area was lovely with the string lights. Our waitresses were wonderful and attentive, and helped each other out. I got the Lost at Sea cocktail which was very light and refreshing and reminded me of coconut milk, but the different flavor profiles were great. My husband the Spanish Rose. Chili water in it was a bit overwhelming at the beginning but as the ice slowly melted it made it more enjoyable. We got the lamb empanadas, spicy chicken ponchos, and the spinach ravioli special. All were delicious!! Highly recommend, and make a reservation

This upscale restaurant in the North Shore is a fantastic dining destination. The food, from the appetizers to the desserts, is absolutely delicious. They also have amazing mixed drinks. It's a perfect spot for a date night. I highly recommend this place, it won't disappoint. Just make sure not to arrive too early as they don't open until after 5pm.
