Haines Steak House

The ribeye steak was quite good, unfortunately the sirloin steak was not. The salad bar was okay, but nothing special. Since we hadn't made a reservation, we were seated at a table in the middle of the walkway. The ambience was westernlike and well done. Unfortunately, when we pointed out that the sirloin steak wasn't particularly good, there was no response at all. Overall, unfortunately not a convincing recommendation for us.

I was a little surprised that our steaks weren't seasoned, but a little salt and pepper at the table took care of that. We really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere was great.

As I’m sitting in their place, is such a shame. For one, our dishes were dirty, our steaks were super raw. The troll of a waitress just did not check up up on us what so ever. We are currently taking our steak home to cook it the rest of the way. The only good thing was the beer, Dr Pepper, salad and bread.

Nice dinner spot. Has a good ambiance. Steak and rice are fantastic. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.

Drove 12 miles from Baker City only to be told. We are too full, sorry.
