Restaurant bewertenI recently moved to New Jersey and visited the local Amish market for breakfast, sandwiches, and soups. I found everything to be delicious and the service was fantastic. The people there were super friendly. The only downside is that they are only open Thursday to Saturday. I wish they would expand their days because I would love to go every day for their great food. It would make me happy.
The food at this restaurant is fresh and delicious, making it a great spot for food lovers. However, the prices are quite high.
This market is filled with cheeses, smoked meats, and delicious baked goods. It's a fantastic spot for foodies, with a wide variety of spices and hard-to-find food items. The aroma of cinnamon buns baking is irresistible, making it hard to resist grabbing a baked treat. While the craft items may be pricey, there are some lovely Amish furniture pieces. Overall, it's a fun place to spend an afternoon, just be prepared to indulge and put your diet on hold!
I rarely give bad reviews, but my last two experiences here were terrible. I ordered an Italian sub both paintings, and both paintings were made my sub wrong. for the first time, they mayo put on it when I didn't want it. for the second time, they managed to leave the mayo, but they also left the two. (who is a big thing to me, because I love to be swirling and find sandwiches to be without them.) they were even told that they screwed up my order for the last time, and they somehow managed it again. they would think they would have made themselves safe this time, but no. not only that, but the tiny bribe of shredded salad they put on was laughable, and the three slices of meat that were on my lower part were cut so thin that I might have eaten only broth. the price is not worth at all. the only reason why I give this subshop two stars instead of one is because my first time it was fantastic. they did my subpart right, the flesh was cut thick, and my subpart was packed. I don't know what happened between this visit and my last two visits, but after that they'll be happy when I return.
While staying in Hagerstown for a couple days, my companion and I stopped at the Pennsylvania Dutch Market. We found it busy, with an interesting assortment of foods. They folks working there were friendly. Unfortunately, there was no place to sit and enjoy lunch so we only purchased snacks but hopefully, next time will be post-COVID, and they may have seating available. If visiting Hagerstown, it worth a walk about.
