The Blue Marlin - Gulfport

We had a nice late lunch on the veranda. good eating and excellent service.

We sat outside. the weather was perfect and it was quiet!

Only negative comments I have that we sit in our own room with a view of the sound and it was opposite the bar. a trio of dirty people came in and sat at the bar. they seemed to know the personal. I'm sorry that I'm not a bad person, but that was dressed with them in a short pointed and short cut jeans. I'm sorry to go to what I think is a nice restaurant and I dress nicely and someone comes in the look as if they were going to a biker bar. I'm coming back, but please, let's get another table.

We ate outside because the weather was pleasant. It was quiet , the view was nice, and the server was attentive. I ordered the seafood gumbo, which contained one shrimp and no crab. The flavor was good. The shrimp pasta was fine. My companion's seafood platter was good. The hushpuppies were excellent. All was acceptable, nothing special( except maybe the hushpuppies). Prices were reasonable enough. Not many choices for wines by the glass.

This was a lovely setting and service was great. Me and my husband had seafood and it was cooked perfect we were seated in a little private room over looking the water.
