Restaurant bewertenThe pub was charming, but the Sunday lunch was very disappointing. Our entire group found fault with the roast dinners. The lamb was cooked too much and the beef was chewy and lacking in flavor. The vegetables were served separately, and it took a long time for the gravy to be brought out. Overall, the experience was not satisfying.
We had a family Xmas Dinner at the Cricketers and the general feeling was that it was not really worth the money, £125 per head plus drinks. Firstly I have to say the staff were very hospitable and attentive and there was a festive atmosphere...
This charming pub provides excellent service. While the fish and chips were delicious, the Venison cottage pie was disappointing. It contained only two small pieces of meat in a gravy, topped with a large amount of mashed potatoes. I would not recommend this dish to anyone.

The breakfast at this restaurant was terrible. We had been here for a Christmas breakfast last year and decided to return today. We were disappointed to find that they had Prosecco, Bellinis, and liquor on the breakfast menu, but were informed that alcohol is not served until 11am when we tried to order some Prosecco with our meal.
