Restaurant bewertenI had a very disappointing experience at DQ Fergus that left me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. The service was poor, with staff who appeared disinterested and unprofessional, demonstrating a complete lack of hospitality. To make matters worse, I waited for 10 minutes without anyone coming to take my order. It’s disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism and customer care from a well-known brand like DQ. Until they make significant improvements, I cannot recommend DQ Fergus to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. It’s crucial for businesses to uphold the standards expected of them and provide better treatment for their customers. They need to either hire new staff or consider closing the location if they can't deliver proper service.
The restaurant is located in a great spot and is tidy and well-maintained. We ordered a chocolate cake but were uncertain if it contained any nuts, so we thought about exchanging it. The staff member who served us at first was friendly and welcoming. However, when we returned to ask about the exchange, we were told there might not be any nuts, leading us to decide to keep the cake. Unfortunately, one staff member was rather rude, asking us, "Hey! Did you pay?" Overall, the service was acceptable, but the customer service left much to be desired. I don’t intend to come back to this place.
What a wonderful play center for kids! Although it could use some updates, my son had an incredible time. The food was delicious; we ordered the kids’ combos with chicken tenders, which were fantastic. The ice cream and blizzards always get a thumbs up!
The service was impressively quick, and the staff was incredibly friendly. My wife chose a medium chocolate shake, while I went for a strawberry one. Both shakes were delicious and made just the way we like them—super thick!
I ordered a medium dipped cone and a medium cone in a cup, and the total came to $11.79. I haven't paid that much all summer, and I certainly didn't expect it today. I've also noticed that the prices at different Dairy Queen locations in Guelph vary by about $1.10 for a dipped cone and $1.33 for a medium cone in a cup. Some Dairy Queens in the area even charge more than what their signs advertise. It's surprising how inconsistent ice cream prices can be, almost like how gas prices fluctuate across the city. Can you imagine if every Tim Hortons had different prices for coffee or donuts? It's absurd!
