The best place to have a crescia which is a traditional flatbread from Gubbio. The fillings for the crescia can be with salumi, prosciutto, sausages, different types of cheese and veggies. They have also pasta and mixed grill for lunch and dinner. The staff is amazing and the location is just outside the town. I definitely recommend.
This place is great. My 3rd visit with my partner whose mommy is from Gubbio. We come here every time we come to Gubbio. Get the perrugine with crescia and don't forget a side of spinach!
Isidoro is an institution here, the Bar La Valle presents the typical Gubbio Pizza Cresciuta, aka Crescia, at his best. Done just with water, floor and some grease the Crescia is the typical Gubbio dish. Served instead of bread, is always on the table, served with prosciutto, the Coppa Eugubina, cheese and grilled meat and grilled pork sausages. La Valle expresses this typical meal at its best, and his cheap too. With wine you can expect to spend about 15€ per person. A forced stop every time I come to Gubbio.
