Pizzeria Miramare - Guardia piemontese

This had to be the best overall seafood experience we had in all of Italy!! Ristorante Pizzeria Miramare is the go to for exceptional welcoming service, food and wine selection! “Frittura al Metro” is truly something you won’t experience anywhere else and overall our favorite selection on the menu! The variety of colors and freshness of the calamari, shrimp, swordfish, clams etc. was mouthwatering! We will always be back for more! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Can’t wait to be back down in Calabria and enjoy the Guardia Piemontese crystal clear blue sea.

Solid tradition from the territory. The sea is a few meters away, nice view. Go for mixed antipasti and half-meter-fried-sea-food (yes, half meter) for each person. You will taste the very typical flavours of the area, probably don 't get to the bottom of your plate (portions are big) and not regret it. Nothing special about wine selection. Prices are mid-ranged for the region. Quality-to-price ratio is good.

The restaurant was not full, but they clearly did not have enough waiting staff. The waiter did not know what a Gin and Tonic was and that was after 1/2 hour wait for a drinks order. They then lost our food order,so we were there almost 1 1/2 hours before we got our meal. Food was OK but nothing special

This local pizza and seafood restaurant sits on the beach with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. The pizza was top notch with a variety choices I have never tasted before. Its a must visit if you are in the area.

When I think about Italy I think about seafood and now my reference of seafood is this restaurant. Perfect staff and the food is excellent. Good wine and atmosphere. We eat 1m of fried seafood and we were 4 adults and 2 kids that was enough for everybody. If you want a pizza they have it.
