Hungry Bear Cafe - Groveland

Went for dinner while in town , and My burger was so juicy and tons of flavor you can see in the picture. Waitress was nice and helpful. Will be back ?

Gave me a meat burrito as a vegetarian. Then proceeded to say I ordered wrong (when I clearly said vegetarian). He then placed my order at the end of the line and waited 1.5 hours for my food. I would not recommend coming here especially if you want any type of

We walk in and looking at the menu and the man just told us cannot have you in the lobby go to the back and sit down. Not even good morning. Very nice welcome then we’re trying to order at the register and he’s rushing us like we’re bothering him when we’re trying to figure out. If this is what we want to order we asked for a coffee and they were trying to see the sizes he said small or large very rudely. Not sure if the gentleman is racist, but was not a very welcome greeting. We didn’t order our food. We go sit down and we get one food to us and then the second plate was supposed to be two orders they only Made one we had to wait for another order and the pancakes were burnt. We didn’t wanna complain because we don’t know what they’re gonna put in our food. It’s very expensive $20 a plate very not nice made potatoes house potatoes look like they were from he brought up three days. No flavor he brought out our food and we asked for an extra plate to serve our child and it seem to bother him for us to do that. It’s very poor customer service not friendly not family orientated very disappointing will never come here again I wish I would’ve seen the reviews before I came to this place! Not sure how they’re still open they need to be more friendly customer service and not have bothering them. I did not grade any stars because of us to grade 0.

Zero service zero tip. No option here to give zero stars, but that’s how I would rate this place. The lady with the long dark hair who was meant to maybe be serving customers sat in the office for a while and then completely ignored us when she came to the counter, even though I said hello. She shuffled papers for a few minutes and then moodily asked what we wanted. My daughter has food allergies and asked about gluten in a dish, this person just said she didn’t know and did nothing to find out.We dined in and I had ordered a coffee. There was no one else to be served, but she still waited around ten minutes before making it, then placed it on the counter instead of walking four steps to put it on our table.The food was terrible. Never ever make the mistake of coming here! I wish I had seen the reviews first.

I would not recommend this restaurant and we definitely regretted stopping here. It was empty upon our arrival on a Sunday morning which means our family of 5 shouldn’t have been overwhelming to cook for. The two working there didn’t seem to be all that happy to there or enjoy their job much. Ordered and paid for food at counter, then waited outside on the deck for it to be brought out. My daughter’s waffle was very burnt on the bottom, making it basically impossible to cut with the flimsy plastic cutlery essentially inedible because who wants burnt food? My son’s pancakes were hard crusty on bottom, again making them nearly impossible to cut didn’t taste good either. Omelet, egg scramble, chicken fried steak meals were all dismal nothing special, even the potatoes were dry lacking onions peppers typically found in country potatoes. Of course nobody checked on us or asked how the food was since the meals tip were paid up front. Sorry, but I recommend going hungry instead.
