Restaurant bewertenWe recently visited sarkys with a large group of 15 people and they were super courteous! the food was all delicious (especially the frits) and the service was great! they even prepared a special vegetarian option that was not on the menu because they knew in advance that we have a vegetarian in the party. highly recommended to support this local business!
We have eaten here a few times and the food never fails to impress us! Great food and awesome people! Highly recommend!
As we continued our journey through New England to Vermont, we decided to try this rib joint in Vermont. We ordered a Cajun appetizer that consisted of a gang of French fries and chopped up chicken tenders. I don't have a clue of what these Vermonters consider as Cajun as this platter wasn't spicy at all. It was pretty bland stuff. In fact, from my experience up here bland is synonymous with food. But it gets better... Living in Maryland, I have one rib place that has the most delicious wings. They can really hold their own with the likes of Buffalo Wild Wings. So maybe this place was good too, right? I ordered the Cajun wings as well. When they came to the table I noticed that they were black. When I bit into one, they were dry. I am talking bone dry. I figured maybe it was an anomaly, so I bit into another one. BONE DRY!! Borderline edible!!! Yes it was that bad. I them flagged down the waiter and told them that my food was burnt. They didn't argue and brought me fried wings instead. This time they tasted good but were on the small side. They also did not charge me for the wings as the waitress evidently did not convey to me how they made their Cajun wings They get props for that. My girlfriend got the pulled pork and she was happy with that. So they were cool about me not liking their overcooked mess and the other food didn't get any complaints. By the way... if you like French fries, you will get a mountain of them with the other burgers and things that come with the entrees. JUST AVOID THE CAJUN WINGS!
I am gluten free and they don't really have options for me. My boyfriend likes there fries but I find them a little too greasy. And with anything cheesy they never melt the cheese all the way. I guess it's an ok option if your in the mood for something really greasy but it's just not how I eat.
Great food. Great people. If you like smoked deliciousness, this is the place. Ribs yum Smokey and meaty. The smoked chicken is to die for
