The Local Cow - Gresham

Ate here for the first time tonight. Came upon it last min via urbanspoon. Great atmosphere. Kid friendly. I recommend the Rocky Balboa or Hawai i503. YUM! Definitely coming back to this one.

Tasty!!!. I have been here a few times and will likely be back many more. The food is great, I like to try something new each time. My kids let me pick for them too.

Messy!!. Messy to eat but isn't that how a burger should be? I had all the components that I like on a burger: swiss cheese, bacon and guacamole. And what was exceptional is that none of the flavors were lost. The beef was juicy and flavorful and the guacamole taste came thru with chunks of avocado. Even the bun was unusually tasty. My burger (just the way I like it) was the special of the day, but they have B.Y.O.B. build your own burger so you can select from options to design your own masterpiece. Mine came with fries, but the table ordered some of the special fries with truffle oil and they are definitely worth the price. Oh, YUM! <br/ <br/ We live quite a distance from Gresham were meeting family on their way to the airport but are already planning a return trip. Gotta have some more fries!<br/ <br/ I would give it 5 stars, but they don't have Coke products.

The people were great and the food was even better. A local based menu that felt right at home in the portland metro. I will be going back to try everything on there menu.

Excellent atmosphere, friendly staff. The fried pickles are absolutely delightful with refreshing crisp tart flavor that makes you wanting more! Then there is the Holly Cow burger, with 1/3 pound of fresh fleshy beef goodness , smothered in the moist juicy succulent pastrami that melts in your mouth along side the tantalizing ever so mild horse radish sauce, that ties all this into a mouth-watering haven for your taste buds.. Perfect night out!!
