The ambiance of this place was nothing short of impressive, with an inviting and lively atmosphere that beckoned me to sit down and enjoy a cold one. The decor was a perfect blend of modern and rustic, with exposed brick walls, wooden tables and industrial lighting. The staff was friendly and welcoming, with a deep knowledge of the brewery's history and beer-making process. It was clear that Blue Ridge Brewing Company takes great pride in their craft, and it showed in every aspect of their establishment. Now, let's get to the main event – the beer. I had the pleasure of sampling a few of their signature brews, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The quality and taste of each brew were exceptional, with a perfect balance of flavors that left me wanting more. The IPA was a standout, with a bold and hoppy flavor that was perfectly balanced by a smooth finish. The pale ale was also a crowd favorite, with a crisp and refreshing taste that was perfect for a hot summer day. But the real star of the show was the Blue Ridge Brown Ale. This brew had a rich and complex flavor that was unlike any other beer I've ever tasted. The aroma was a blend of coffee and chocolate, which was perfectly complemented by a nutty and slightly sweet taste. It was a true masterpiece of brewing, and a beer that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Blue Ridge Brewing Company. In addition to their exceptional beer, Blue Ridge Brewing Company also had a fantastic menu of delicious food. From their signature burgers and sandwiches to their fresh salads and appetizers, every dish was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. It was the perfect accompaniment to their exceptional beer, and a true testament to the culinary skills of their chefs. Overall, Blue Ridge Brewing Company is a must-visit for anyone looking for a great beer and dining experience in downtown Greer, SC. The combination of exceptional beer, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind with friends or family. So, whether you're a beer connoisseur or just looking for a great place to enjoy a cold one, be sure to add Blue Ridge Brewing Company to your list of must-visit breweries.
My wife and i traveled to the Greenville area from Summerville to bike the beautiful Swamp Rabbit trail. Decided to head over to nearby Greer for dinner and beer, Greer is a quaint little southern town. My wife ordered trout and I ordered a rack of ribs , both were very good reasonably priced and service was on point. They also have a rooftop bar which was quite active for a Tuesday night. Friendly folks, good food. PS , got the chocolate peanut butter bomb for dessert. Yes worth the extra calories
Bar was mediocre and the bartenders took forever to get our drinks. We sat here and saw a cockroach crawling up the wall while just sitting waiting on our drinks. Do not recommend until they clean it up a bit.
This was our second time at Blue Ridge. The first visit was outstanding, and we were excited to return. This visit was a profound disappointment. My son was visiting. He and his girlfriend joined us. I had the smoked chili, which was delicious. My wife and son both had the fish and chips. The first time the fish was served, it was clearly overdone. It was a coffee-dark-brown color, with parts even darker than that. I am at a loss to how cooked could 've plated it, and the server present it, without noticing. When I pointed it out to the server, she confirmed Yes, that is burnt , and she graciously apologized, and took the plates back. When she brought the replacement plate out, the fish was again dark. Better than the first, but still well-past golden. The server indicated the fish was dark because of the oil. Not sure what that means. Was the oil dirty or old? There are other pics online of the fish with a great golden hue. As for the other entree, my son 's girlfriend ordered a regular burger with cheese. The burger had excellent char and great flavor. The pink center was a perfect medium cook. However what was ordered was a WELL-DONE burger. (See pic) The server confirmed the burger was under done, and later stated the cook that made the burger was new. Like a number of other reviews the staff is noticeably friendly. The quality of food preparation, even on the re-do is unacceptable. Three of three entrees were poorly or incorrectly prepared and served. There was no additional accommodation for the errors, aside from the server 's apology. Quite a disappointing meal. For the price of the meal, the expectation of preparation and presentation was profoundly lacking.
Blue Ridge Brewery has always been very good, fun, and welcoming. Best Shrimp and Grits around. The burgers are huge and tasty. The wings are a 3 day process and worth every bit. The bear selection changes often because they always keep up-to-date with local Brewers. Highly recommend
