Black Forest Pastry Shop - Greenwich

Typically, the pastries at this place are fantastic. However, I recently ordered three chocolate mousse bombs, each costing over seven dollars. Unfortunately, the mousse wasn't fresh, and the cake was dry. It was disappointing, especially since everything else I've tried there has been excellent. I felt like I wasted my money on those bombs.

There are so many options to choose from that I felt a bit overwhelmed. Everything looks delicious! I ended up getting an apple turnover, and it was delicious!

Black Forest Pastry Shop did an amazing job with our wedding cake! We ordered a three-tiered carrot cake, and our guests loved it. It was absolutely delicious, and the decoration was beautiful: It can be hard to make a cake with buttercream icing lookgood, but the ruffled design looked exactly as described. I was also impressed by how easy the ordering process was, and howattentive the bakery was at following up with us to make sure they had all the details correct. I should also give a shout outto this bakery's other pastries--we ordered a bunch of little treats for our rehearsal dinner, and honestly, they were evenbetter than the cake. We'll definitely be stopping by for an encore the next time we're in Greenwich!

Incredible cakes and pastries just off the main avenue, plus they give a discount for cash payments!

Great customer service, answered all my questions and made suggestions. Pass on the danish they don't do that well. Buy the cakes! The black forest cake is amazing! I actually never tried it before here and was pleasantly surprised. I will return forcake.
