Great crab claws and the fried white fish is delicious

The raw oysters were very fresh … my husband and I came for lunch I took the fish tacos and he took the shrimp and grits. Everything was simply delicious and fresh.

We were traveling and stopped for Lunch. Food portions were just right for Senior Citizens. We will stop again next time we travel through Greenville, Alabama.

Stopped in on the way to Mobile just off I65 next to Shoney's on a Monday at about 6 pm. Gumbo bowl tasted ok but was dry. Not sure how that's gumbo. Ate it with a fork. 8 bbq wings were good. Server never once smiled in 6 visits to my table and seemed distracted. Meal was $25.21 and I tipped $5ish. Greeter was cheerful and polite. Place was mostly empty though seemed pleasant.

For 6 years, we have been patrons of the Wentzel's here in Greenville. We have had good food and bad food. Our last few visits, the food, has been better than it ever has before. Everything is delicious. Perfectly cooked, served hot and juicy. The staff is friendly and the bathrooms were clean.
