Restaurant bewertenFrom Denny's guiding principles: "GUESTS FIRST. They’re more than just customers or consumers. They’re our guests, and we invite them into our homes with open arms. They’re the very reason why we’re in business, and we put them at the center of everything we do." Perhaps this holds true in some locations, but during my visit to Fort Lee, VA, the food was mediocre and took an astonishing 45 minutes to arrive. What made the experience even worse was the rude and indifferent attitude of the staff. I would have given zero stars, like the tip I left, but Google requires at least one star.
I visited the Denny's at 3703 Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407 around 8:30 PM with my two sons, and we had an incredible experience. The food was fantastic, and our waitress, Birtha V, was exceptional. She was sweet, highly professional, and juggled our table along with several others without missing a beat, always with a smile on her face. This is, by far, the best service I've received at any Denny's!
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at Denny's on High Point Road. If I could give a zero rating, I would. The manager, Angelica G, was very unprofessional. My wife slipped and fell in their walkway, and she showed no concern for the situation. She said she couldn't offer me a refund because they were about to close, even though I had just spent $30 on burgers. I am furious and will never return unless something is done about her behavior. To make matters worse, my burger had all the toppings I specifically asked to be excluded, and when I pointed out the onions on it, she insisted that she knew they hadn’t put onions on it, even though I could see them on my burger.
Key and Mo were fantastic. Mo is one of the top chefs in the area, and he has a wonderful personality to go along with his skills. I had a great time with my server Key and I hope to have them serving me again in the future!
Denny's emphasizes treating patrons as guests in our home, making their satisfaction our top priority. However, my recent visit to the Progress, VA location fell short of this ideal. The food was average at best, and we waited an excessive 45 minutes for our order to arrive. The most frustrating aspect was the apparent indifference from the staff. If I could rate it zero stars, I would, but sadly, Google requires at least one star.
