Restaurant bewertenThis was 1pm yesterday 04/2/2021. My daughter and I went in to order 2 footlong steak and cheese melts on Italian bread. We were informed there was no Italian bread available so we chose to go with the herb and cheese and there was only 1 available so wehad to just go with wheat for the 2nd sandwhich. Then there was only enough steak for 1 and a half sandwiches as the worker wasliterally lifting the metal bucket up to scrape what she could to put in to the second sandwhich. She also cut the bread all theway through on both sandwiches so when I opened them to eat later with my family they both looked like piles of bread andcondiments tossed into a bag and looked unappetizingto say the least.. . A customer had come in to order right behind us but heleft because there was no bread available besides wheat and no steak. When we walked in at first the 2 workers were sitting inthe office laughing and acted annoyed that they had customers. Maybe prep some food instead of making it seem like customersare an inconvenience because you shouldn't be out of half your product to make sandwhich es at 1pm in a busy downtown area wherelots of people eat lunch.... We will not be coming back and I will make sure to let others know not to go. There are plenty ofother restaurants in the area that subway is located that I should have chose instead but I wanted to go with the fastest as Iwas in a hurry. Big mistake.
Waited for the kids to get done making the sandwiches for the customers, instead I had a long conversation and made the other customers wait. And to add to that I went to subway about three months ago, and they made an embarrassing sandwich. Highlyunprofessional people
5 stars because the staff is always friendly, patient and do the best they can. However, lunch hour at a downtown location is probably not the best time to have new, inexperienced staff members training/working. I've been coming to this location forabout a year maybe two or three times a month for lunch, and I've seen a lot of workers come and go. Again, the staff is alwaysvery friendly and accommodating, however sometimes the wait can be 20+ minutes because they can't keep up, which isunderstandable for a new employee, but inconvenient for anyone who's on a lunch break.
I like the food but Subway's always been a little tight with the food. It should have more meat and vegetables if you want them. And avocado shouldn't be so expensive. When I went the other day the floors were filthy and sticky!!
The staff was friendly, did a good job with the salad I ordered. I'll go back there.
