Windy Lake - Greater Sudbury

Just a few days' stay in Windy Lake. (Only before the rain) The food is great. The fuel price is appropriate Rooms are clean and warm. Amanda Oscar is great. They are very accommodating, not just people staying at the motel. They even offered to leave food in our room that we come back late from a ride. weather permitting me to return this coming weekend.

Above all, they have Great food and a very comfortable motel close to Multispecies Angel Hotspots. If you don't feel At home with rooms or Restraunt it is at the end as the owners and employees maintain an exceptional standard in terms of room and food. RESTRAUNT 10/10: First, they serve breakfast all day and a complete menu to please everyone. Personally I had a Windy Lake Burger and it was more then I could imagine 2 homemade patties topped with fresh topping and served quickly for traveling travelers 's maybe 10 min max and that was half full capacity. MOTEL ROOM 9/10: Minus 1 point cause the age shows, but I can respect the quality together with the price per night. Was super clean with a mini fridge and a microwave. RESTAURANT: 10/10: huge portions in high quality. Also very fast service. CLEANLINESS 10/10: The rooms were cleaned every day and new towels and soap ed. I didn't need much, but they took care more than I expected. LOCATION 10/10: Depending on the adventures you have planned, the location is close to many family or solo adventures. My all were perfect OVERALL 9.8/10: I had a great experience and would recommend 100% to everyone. All in all this is a great 1 stop shop for all your needs in the north. I think they even add baits for the guests to make it even more comfortable. With gas, propane, room, remnant and up and upcoming bait shop. Should have everything you need, plus friendly conversation if you wish. I personally enjoyed conversing with employees and owners. They are very passionate about bringing you the best possible experience. Not sure if there are any bad reviews, but if so I would disregard them as this place and the people here are exceptional and go beyond and beyond to make you feel welcome. Do not believe that I take a trip for myself and will be blown away with the great northern hospitality you will experience. Cheese

Great food, great atmosphere and a great location. It's a regular stop on our carriage rides. A stop shop, food, fuel and much more.

Great staff!! Right beside the provincial park. Reasonable rates and the little restaurant has good food for what I tried. Will definately be staying there again as I go through on my fishing/hunt trips.

Super service and great food (gravy was sooooooo good). The prices were reasonable, atmosphere was homey and everything was delicious. They serve a variety of foods and desserts, fishing bait and tackle, random souvenirs, slushies, ice cream, chips, coffee and teas, they have some sort of postal service drop off which I think is cool and you don’t see that too often. Will definitely be back!
