Holiday Inn Harrisburg (hershey Area) I-81

Rooms didn’t have keys. Security headed up to my room before I got checked in and propped open my door. Then after I got my luggage in the room I had to leave my door open to go get my kids and wife out of the car. The room has an old smell to it. The guy that checked me in was very nice though. But this hotel lacks everything else.

Great location in terms of the casino and concert venue. Only stay here if you HAVE to. We never will again. It’s so outdated and gross. Our door looked like it was broken into at some point, mold in the bathroom, the carpets are dirty, and headboards are dusty. The door to go into the hotel was broken so anyone could walk in without a room key. We couldn’t wait to leave…if it wasn’t pouring when we left the concert we were at we would have driven home the 2 hours. Oh….and the musty gross smell is a whole other thing.

This is a beat up property for this brand. Surprised they still have the marquee! Holiday Inn is slipping. Hallways stink. Glad it was only an overnight visit! Mattress were ancient! Flophouse mattresses. Carpet in the room was wet for some reason. Linen smelt like food.

Business trip. My company made the reservation. Nice, clean. Parking lot has security driving around. The chair in the room went over backwards when I sat back it was a minor issue, fridge is to small to hold anything. TV sucked, wasn’t able to watch a baseball game. Hotel staff are wonderful. Guests not so much. Room next me carried on until 2am

Absolutely terrible staff?My children went to get breakfast but staff proceeded to remove breakfast. My children ask to get breakfast and the Staff that was there continued to take the breakfast and refused to give them at least 5 minutes to get breakfast!!! ? I am extremely disappointed. On top of that I have ended up forgetting my Chocolates. They were brand new in the Hershey bag in the fridge. No more then 20 minutes later of us checking out I seemed to notice that I was forgetting my chocolates and called the front desk ask if they can save it for me so I could come back and get it. Moments later I get told it is gone. I am very unsatisfied and have never experienced a hotel like this.7/24/23
