Restaurant bewertenTypical Portuguese restaurant with fish, seafood and meat dishes. Very good fish and sardines. Good price. Easy to park.
We were a party of ten and were looking forward to our first night out during our long awaited holiday. Being a rather large party, and due to the pandemic, we decided to make a reservation in the outdoor dining area. We made the call the day before and were told everything was OK. When we arrived, we were gaslit by the (unmasked) owner. According to him we had made a reservation for seven people inside, which is illegal due to covid rules. Also, he made up that we asked for a table inside to avoid the mosquitoes, which was a lie. Throughout the conversation, this man was extremely rude, disrespectful and dismissive. Avoid this place, and don't trust your reservation.
What a typical Portugees lovely place! Great food, the best in town! Very honest and friendly staff. Fish dishes and meat are all very good. Waiting times are not long which is super if you’re having hungry kids
Great staff, excelent food! You really need to try the fresh fish or the delicious 'secretos de porco '!! Whatever we ask, taste fantastic! We came to this restaurant already for several years and we 'll continue to do it. The food is simply amazing and above the best restaurants around. The ratio price/quality is fantastic!...
When staying in the Melides, Comporta region Quinta do Lourenco this is my preferred place. This is proper traditional Alentejo food at good value for money, and Dona Luisa (the cook then adds some little twists of her own: e.g. the pork with clams and shrimps served in a roof tile (great dish! , the lagartos served with a bit of fruit, etc.. If she has fresh fish and she knows how to tell the difference! she does amazing fish stews (caldeirada, cataplana This is a simple roadside restaurant, not a fancy place, althoug you sometimes find some celebrities there, hiding in dirty old clothes in true comporta style!
