Restaurant bewertenWe visited the restaurant one week before Yellowstone National Park Closed by floods in June 2022. We enjoyed breakfast so much that we came to breakfast the next morning (from Jackson Lake Lodge). The (ordered, not buffet) dishes were good and Rebecca (from Michigan) served us very well.
An unexpected jewel! It poured rain when we arrived at the campsite, so we were pleased to find that they had a restaurant on the grounds. Now we would have been happy with everything we didn't have to cook in the rain, but the food here was incredible. The Elch medallions and trout both bleed our last fine culinary experience from the water, and it was much cheaper. The service was friendly and attentive. We had such a good experience that we came back to breakfast, which was also amazing!
Today after hiking in Grand Tetons around the noon. We sat right away and waited for it. I ordered an appetizer delicious. I ordered the potato soup delicious. For our main dishes I ordered the adult cheese and my husband the Bisonburger. Both very good. I also loved the lemonade. My only criticism is that the gift shop was not open until 2 a.m., so we were unable to shop after the food, which I like to support large places by buying something from their shop. We'd eat here again!
We were in Grant Teton Park for a week. The resort where we lived had terrible food in both restaurants. On the way to Yellowstone we stopped at Sheffields and had breakfast. Great breakfast Burritos. Last night we drove back to our last meal on our holiday. Even the food was not disappointed. Our waitress Cassie was wonderful and very helpful. I have the Elk medals and my husband's salmon. The BST was incredible. We had the best food for a long time. One has to remember that this place, like many others, is short employees. Be patient and friendly to the waiting staff and kitchen.
We are here 6/27/22 and had the steak, trout, and Alfredo. So good! For a small little lodge, amazing food and great service!
