Restaurant bewertenPizza is just average and don't be surprised of 50$ bill for 2 pizzas. They think they got the worlds best pizza but its actually not that good. And staff is blunt and rude. I don't recommend
We had a cortina special delivered. It was soggy in the box and did not have any real flavour. It was super loaded with double toppings but they all seemed lacking in flavour as they were undercooked. The sauce has no herbs or garlic or any seasonnings. It was ok as we were starving. The delivery fee was $6.00 and we are only 4 km away, the ruff looking biker delivery guy actually waited for a tip on top of this...mmm Not sure if we will re order, almost $38 for a large soggy flavouless pizza. Spice it up guys, the sauce is like plain tomato paste with can mushyrooms
A new Cortina pizza location in Val Caron.........my first pizza experience was with Cortina in my teenaged years.......they were THE pizza place....the owners flagship was on Brady before the expressway.......was a family dwelling......soon others openned......those that survived was Barrydowne, Espanola and Hanmer.....there was still one bearing the name in Hull/Gatineau today......in any case we ordered the cheese and pepperoni for the grandkids, and a number 7 and the legendary "Kitchen Sink".....they said pick up in 25 minutes and they were ready......so that is a good thing.......nothing more frustrating than pre ordering and yet you end up waiting......music, not my taste was a little loud........what I liked about their pizzas was that ingredients were finally chopped giving the layer of flavour in every bite....so what's the verdict....overall just OK, more like the generic franchise......missing is traditional pizza seasonnings such as oregano, could have a touch more of salt and pepper to bring the flavours together.......but the grandkids actually ate a whole piece so that is good......the kitchen sink, although a good amount of ingredients.....the dough was a bit undercooked and took away from the flavour......I do recall the el dente vegetables, seems the dough was a bit more crispy back then......the pieces didn't stand on their own, sagged when grabed by the crust.............the number 7 gave the same impression.......also the cheese and pepperoni had a good portion of sauce the other 2 didn't......this is the basic of pizza.......makes a difference, results in lack of flavour......will have to visit the Barrydowne location to see if the same......that was my go to back then......will we order from this location......probably somewhere down the line.......
I ordered delivery about 3 weeks ago and I gotta tell you the lady I was talking to seemed uninterested.
