Brewed Awakenings - Grand Rapids

Kudos in the shop and owner for a diverse and sophisticated menu of options. The shop is cute, with many seating and local artist wars are presented. I only give 4 stars because the two food items I ordered were good, not great. I expected it better. Had the vegan panini and a fennel feta quiche. I love the concept and the standard offer. My lavender latte was delicious. Will definitely be over again when I'm in town.

Great place. One of the best icy espressos I had! The staff was very friendly and cheerful. Sweet decor. Loves the mosaic wall of the bathroom.

Cute place with delicious coffee, oats and almond milk for non-dairy options, and a case of baked goods including a few gluten-free. Beautiful small stop during our road trip from Bemidji to the Twin Cities. Make sure to check the creative mosaic tiles work in the bathrooms!

Hurra for sweet vibes, toast bar, natural light and food service. I tried my first hummus toast and I like it very much! I think it's more refreshing than avocado toast, and I love the crumb of cucumbers. There will be a lot to do in the morning, but there was no line while I was there. It belongs to the same people who run Northside Cafe, but the Northside Café does not offer the toasts they do. Northside has more hot breakfast options such as omelets and pancakes.

What a great place! It was easy to see that the owners have a vision about providing quality food and coffee in a relaxing atmosphere. Unlike many other coffee shops they made my light on the sweets latte just the way I like it. Their pastries, bars and breakfast bakes looked outstanding and they had a large selection to choose from. If anything, I would say walnuts in the oatmeal would have been better than almonds and more fruit than nuts would have been better. I wish I lived closer, I would frequent this place and try all their food!
