48 High - Grand Falls-Windsor

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the staff are great. I had a BBQ Chicken & Mango wrap with Tomato soup topped with cheddar cheese and it tasted amazing! My husband had the Cod cakes with Potato soup.

During my travels in the Netherlands, I highly valued the opportunity to enjoy some high-quality food. I was informed that this restaurant was considered fine dining.

We stopped for lunch on our way across the island. There was a limited menu but selections showed creativity. Food and service was good. The decor and music were very relaxing. Easy to find and parking was not an issue.

At the end of a long day of driving we arrived at 48 High - a charming bistro like place with funky local art on the walls. Staff were welcoming. Ordered appetizers for dinner - both were well prepared and very tasty. Dessert was also very good.

Great evening at 48 High! After scannning the reviews of 48 High we decided to have supper there tonight and we were not disappointed. THe owner took our order and helped with the selection. THe appetizers we chose -Brie cheese as well as the mussels - were delicious. the main course - a trio of seafood chosen by 3 of us - was fabulous. The lone seafood holdout had the steak, which was served with a blue cheese sauce and it too was fabulous. The portions were generous and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend and will be back again when I visit Grand Fall- Windsor again
