Worst fish and got a scoop of chips didn't look like they cooked it and gave me food poisoning never going back

Fish was disgusting! Really slimy and tasted like it had been sitting for days, chips were still raw in the middle, was waste of money DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Absolute worst worst worst fish and chips I've ever had. The fish was so transparent and slimy i thought it was going to swim away. The chips were so brown and soggy i wouldnt even give them to my dog. The meat pattie was a mystery.. I couldn't tell if the meat was off or they just filled it with herbs and spices to hide the fact the meat was off.. DISGUSTING!

Biggest pieces of fish I've ever seen and yummy ,lovely feeling in the place,what I found most interesting pictures on wall of what the shops looked like after the earthquake,rather damaged,lovely lady reasonable parking right outside,does have wheelchair access into the shop which I liked

Got the Chow Mein here twice before and it was good. Last evening decided to give the fish and chips a go and was really disappointed. The fryer oil must have been so old and probably not up to the right temperature for deep frying. Both the fish and chips were soggy messes which we ended up biffing
