Timberline Summit Pass

Great, CHEAP option for beginners skiers. the pists are very mellow, but they cannot beat the price. edited to add: avoid lessons here! my wife and I took a lection from the head of the ski school and were horrified what we saw. it would have been good for us as an adult, but the 5 children also in the lection had a very hard time. the teacher was not loud enough, gave no clear instruction, could not manage more than a child or a task to a time, negative comments about the abilities of the children to my wife and I, and tried us in chat via our ski experience if they had managed the lektion. we suspect that she was a burned skibum, and at the end of the day she found out that she operates her ski school and that we could not share in good sense our experience.

This place was amazing, especially for beginners! this was just our second time snowboarding and we loved that it was a good mix of because for us to practice different things. and the best part is that it was not as crowded as the 1st place we went so that we were actually in the position to practice without fear to slip into the people.

Perfect location for beginners or first-class images, how to make ski/snowboard. easy access from portland. beautiful dynamic price for 1/2-day options. the runs are the perfect length to take a few different routes and obstacles (heading, rolling hills/strokes, trees.) and the snow was nice and powdery.

The first time here and I enjoyed the pists in timberline and jeff flood lift. the lift directly at the climax is for greens and beginners. but they can get a free shuttle service up to timberline or running gear (only recommended if they get it super early.) I had luck catching a powdery day at a long weekend. I am surprised that it is not crowded at all! I never had to wait more than a few minutes for the ski lift.

It's one lift at Summit but has like 3 tracks to snowboard. I paid $60 for a half day for me and my son. This place is awesome!! I'm a beginner and my son is medium rider and he had a blast, I was worried that he'll be bored of Summit but he had fun.
