Estrad - Gotenburg

Went there for a concert gig by Gunhild Carling. Very good auditorium sound and lighting excellent, seats luxurious even! Cafe very busy at interval never got served, fizzy water free. Secure lockers downstairs, toilets very clean. Buy tickets and print from website to save queues. 40 minutes from Stockholm City by pendletag 40 train, ie the one that runs from airport, and the terminus station Sodertalje is 75m fron the Esterad. Nice little cafe outside the station, most convenient for Esterad.

Good venue, although a bit crowded between the rows..

Södertälje's city scene, Estrad, with 498 seats. Located in Södertälje city hall and wall-to-wall with the dance and event venue Trombon. An excellent lounge for theatre, cinema and music.

The experiences have been great, the comfort in the salon unfortunately decreases. You should choose your seat carefully if you have long legs, as it is difficult to fit in the rows.

Easy with parking at the train station 1.5 minutes away. Large areas before the show, but not so cosy. Easier serving, however, with beer/wine.
