The Town House Restaurant - Goondiwindi

I always enjoy dining at the townhouse - the food is delicious, the service is great, and they also offer tasty cocktails at a reasonable price.

We have had enjoyable evenings at this restaurant, although at times the atmosphere was lacking. However, during a recent visit a few weeks ago, we met Darren who completely changed our experience. Darren was kind, professional, and elevated our dining experience with his excellent service. Thanks to Darren and the updated menu featuring more modern items, we have returned multiple times. We appreciate the talented chefs for the delicious food and Darren for his exceptional service and cocktail-making skills!

Our dinner on Saturday night was not as good as expected, considering the decent reviews. The service was quick and friendly, and the decor was fine. However, the prices were high for the quality of the food we received. I have had much better pub meals than what we were served. The pork cutlet was dry, tough, and small for the price. The lamb was tough and fatty. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night, but I do not think that what we had was anything special.

Have been a few times over the years and the meals can be great well cooked delicious steaks. And then other times the orders are mixed up or just plain wrong and on those nights the food is usually poor
