Restaurant bewertenFriendly staff, best chips and gravy in history. So lucky they're in my town. Yiros, hamburger, hotdog are great as well.
Lovely little local fish and chips shop. Good range of fish. Tasty chips. Had all the accompaniments for travellers / day trippers.
New owner don't have a clue how to run a fish and chip shop, maybe try at a school canteen first, got half order, was expect to eat cold food when returned to there shop, not even a sorry from the old lady behind the counter, just excuses, when we have visitors to Goolwa will be sure to let them know of our experience at this place, get your act together or you will end up like the other one that is now a empty shop
The fish was so fresh and soft it literally fell to pieces. My wife and I just melted over our pieces of flake it was that good. Chips are hand cut and as one reviewer said earlier, they are yummy. One piece of advice. Take cash as they dont accept cards. Also beware the South Australia bank across the road. Slugged me $2.00 transaction fee to draw cash out to pay for our lunch. I must admit the extra two dollars was worth it. That fish still has me wanting more the next day.
Great chips! I think they are hand cut as they were very rustic - I really enjoyed them. Husband loved the fish :)
