Black Angus Steakhouse - Goodyear

Food is always wonderful so good !! Service was outstanding too. Our only negative would be that the restrooms are WAY OVER DO for a remodel. But we don't come here for the restrooms just the food. Salmon is delicious and filets are the best too.

DO NOT Reserve AFTER 7pm. First of all, we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated even though we had 7:15p reservations for Mother's Day. So we had to take all our 3 young kids with us and wait in the car until we were texted that our table is ready. Then, after being seated, we had to wait over another hour to get our food, and they were out of EVERYTHING. No potato skins, no broccoli, no asparagus, no lemonade nor fries for my little girl which were the only things she really wanted. It's currently 9:26pm as I am typing this review and food is just arriving. Luckily, this is our second time here so I can review their food, which is pretty good when it's warm. (Sorry... our Mac was brought to me cold smh). My wife wanted to give them a second chance before I write them a review after they also messed up her birthday dinner on our first time eating there. Anyway...rest assured that we just won't be eating there anymore or at any of the other locations. Nope!

We had a 6 oz filet mignon and the wagon wheel appetizer. Filet pretty good. Cooked how we requested. The assorted platter appetizer was ok but there were so many deep fried things it got a bit old fast. Shrimp tasted like they had been frozen and were now just limp. Potato skins good. The deep fried zucchini was good but the batter was thick and a bit greasy so I easily slid most of that off. The best part was we had an amazing server! I'm sorry I don't remember her name. They were very busy for Mother's Day and she was superb.

The reason for my 3 stars overall is because I made a reservation for 5:00 they were behind and the person checking people in seemed less than pleased to be working that day. I ended up waiting 25 minutes standing only to have my table given to someone else because the disgruntled employee didn't check the name of who he was seating. When I got to the counter to be seated, he had realized he seated someone else, so I got stuck at a tiny table in the corner behind the bar on Mother's Day. The food was excellent, and the waitress was great, but I'm really aggravated with how I was seated when I made a reservation a week prior. I seriously debated leaving but finding someplace else on Mother's Day would have been hard. Next time I will think twice before I chose Black Angus for a holiday meal. I spent a good chunk of money for what I was given.

We went for Mother's Day, and the service was terrible, and the food was not worth it the money who paid for it. The server was overwhelmed, as there were too many tables for her to manage, and so she limited our request by telling us that there were none of those things.
