KFC - Gold Coast

Beware, the food here still tastes like it's cooked in palm oil. The service was slow and not very enjoyable. The inexperienced employee seemed overwhelmed. It seemed like they were understaffed the day we visited.

Stopped by for a light bite. The salad was served cold. The popcorn chicken didn't taste as good as usual. There were plenty of seats and the place was decently clean. The air conditioning wasn't very effective in keeping the place cool. Luckily, they served Pepsi in bottles. Overall, not very impressed with the experience.

The restaurant was nice and clean but the chicken was very dry. Even the thighs which I thought were never dry more like breast.

Management need to pull their finger out of their butt! During lunch rush there were not enough staff members on and the ones that were there lacked in multitasking and time management skills. Was so slow with zero communication as I watched so many customers...walk out without ordering. Someone higher up needs to get in and sort it out, feel sorry for one teenage boy who was working his butt off to compensate for the other useless employees.

Our family have always liked KFC never been disappointed. We purchased the Tuesday special of 9 pieces which from other KFC's has been outstanding. This time the chicken was over cooked, the pieces were exceptionally small virtually had hardly any meat on them...as well as a poor selection. The usual flavour was missing. Our advice is open the box before you drive off to check what you are getting.
