Tortuga Jacks Jekyll - Glynn County

Just ate there five minutes ago. Asked two people to put soap in the bathroom. Never put soap in bathroom. They brought my check on time though. Food was unremarkable.

Very busy place, but very accommodating. Great margaritas.

My family and I have decided that Jekyll restaurants don’t really care if they’re any good, as they’re the only places to eat on the island and they’ll always get business. This one was the worst. Terrible cheap lime water tasting margaritas, the verdes enchiladas had chunky salsa verde dumped over them (not an actual green enchilada sauce), the black beans were dry and unappetizing, and my mom’s taco salad was just sad (and kind of gross) looking. Server was nice, only good thing.

Your average Mexican food. Nothing was bad (ex water) but nothing special. Atmosphere was awesome.

Not having very authentic Mexican food, we didn't like the taste or texture of the food. It's a good place for drink n all.
