Gringo's Mexican Cantina - Glenelg

Felt like mexicans. there was enough staff to be table service, so was surprised when we had to order at the bar. could have had a beer on hahn, it was delicious, but so kudos to them.

After eating at this place we loved it absolutely. I've read reviews since and yes, some things might be a bit better, like the drinks, but could not blame the burrito and was great. the people need to remember that this is casual. Eat and we found the guy friendly and the young girls helpful. there very full and would go back. whoever is interested in getting up and ordering cash, I say and for the price it is very favorable.

Okay, so I don't lie, we were a bit worried when we booked a table of 15 for tee, as some of the last reviews were not great but seriously I could not mistake it personal was nice and attentive nothing too hard food...what amazing, decor has been updated since my last visit about 12 months ago we had to have 2 seperate tables because of covid have fantastic, but who cares about meal times came out they were! lemon margaritas ingenious they don't listen to the last reviews just go sitting they take a margarita some nachos support local and happy be so full go home sleep like a baby!

I thought I would try mexican for changes, personal, where friendly, good priced, tasted okay, thinking, servings might have been a little bigger.

Service fine. Decor a bit tired. Drinks not quite icy cold but better than lukewarm. Food was wasnt great. Good attempt with a fresh side salad (nothing Mexican about it) and the rice was actually tasty and punchy with the jalapenos through it. Bean tacos...bland and almost like the tex mix kits from the supermarket. The burrrito had too much cheese and the shredded chicken utterly tasteless. A real shame. Won't be back
