Glenelg Surf Club

What a jewel of a restaurant and what a magnificent view of the sea. The restaurant is a great very good menu and specialties, a lot of beer on tap. The food was quickly brought out and was delicious, nice friendly staff

A great property of Glenelg, has a great view of the sea. Portions are generous and are good. All employees feel welcome and part of the club.

Nice place and great staff, but unfortunately the food was not so great for the price it cost. Not bad, but nothing special. We had the beef and fish and chips.

My wife and I had lunch here on Saturday, 28 January 2023. We sat outside on the balcony. It has a good view of the beach. We ordered the seafood platter for $99. There was enough food for 3 people on it. Oysters, prawns, salmon, salad, and sweet potato chips were delicious. The salt and pepper and Calamari were nice, but after a while of eating it, we thought it was a bit too much to eat. We didn't enjoy the fried fish. If they allowed the fish to be grilled without any extra charge, this Platter would be exceptional.

The staff were not very friendly and very slow. They got our order incorrect and seemed like a hassle to ask for the sauce we ordered which they had forgotten to put through but made sure they bought the eftpos to the table to pay before they gave it to us. The meal was ordinary, very oily. Wouldn’t recommend.
