Lao Sze Chuan-glendale

we showed up and the restaurant was closed, not sure what to say.

I am deeply disappointed in both lao sze Chuan-Glendale and open table. I have visited this restaurant at many places, although eating lately was not so good because I think they have changed chefs and the prices have risen. but this experience did it for me. I had a relative visit from the country and wanted to bring them to a beautiful Chinese restaurant. I made a reservation and received a confirmation via open table. to my surprise and embarrassment we found the restaurant closed for reorganisation. open table confirmed a reservation for a restaurant that is closed and the website says it (the restaurant) is open. what a crock of s!!! I am not disappointed! .am in a loss for cake!

fabulous eating, various menus from “typical Chinese”. service felt disorganized, erratic (but friendly)

the dessert and beverage prices have increased significantly. there are now fewer dessert options. the amount of food is lower, the prices rise, and eating is not as spicy as before (if they would increase the level of season to its original level). otherwise we like to eat and would come back

So sorry to not recommend this establishment...bland food, sterile atmosphere, nice staff, difficult parking.
