Inn On The River - Glen Rose

The inn is beautiful! much love for the detail for the comfort of their guests. the owners are very nice and helpful. also try their restaurant! we were only here for a night (for the tarlton conclusion.) we are back for a longer stay.

Spent the weekend here while we visited mountain bike trails around Dinosaur Valley. This place is a hidden gem. Beautiful serene location right on the river, staff is very warm welcoming and helpful, food was excellent, we loved the antique vintage feel of the place. Very dog friendly, wish we would have brought ours. Within walking distance of many unique stores and restaurants in Glen Rose. We saw live music both Friday and Saturday night at a bar just a block away. Would highly recommend this place.

Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest rating these liars can get.We verbally contracted them to assist with cooking for my wedding reception approximately 6 months ago. They reneged on it with less than 2 weeks from my wedding date forcing me to hire a last minute caterer at a significantly increased price.Using this business will be the worst decision you'll make.If you book anything here MAKE SURE YOU INSIST ON GETTING IT IN WRITING! BECAUSE THEY WILL DROP YOU IN A HEARTBEAT IF SOMETHING BETTER TO THEM COMES ALONG!They will also insist that it's entirely your fault and they are good people even though you followed their instructions TO THE LETTER!So if you like being lied to and forgotten, this is the business for you

Located right off the Paluxy River. Relaxed, very welcoming staff (including Ryman and Ursa), Room was clean and well appointed, bathroom looked brand new, Plenty of off-street parking, Breakfast was very good. There is a riverfront tavern called Snyders adjacent to the property we didn't get a chance to try but had a couple tell us at breakfast that is was their favorite spot to eat in Glen Rose. Highly recommend the Inn on the River.

Great atmosphere in this 100+ year old hotel. Service by owners and staff was excellent. Outstanding food and service in the adjacent intimate Snyder’s Tavern for dinner. Finished off the stay the next morning with an outstanding provided breakfast.
