Restaurant bewertenFirst timer. Lady at counter very friendly and told/asked options throughout ordering. Clear menu available help with options. Food was fresh, delivered quickly, hot and as ordered. We took out and sat outside at the picnic tables available. Would definitely revisit. Parking: Parking right out front. Was concerned about pulling back out onto highway but you can drive behind building and exit on the side getting access to the traffic light. Much safer option
Food here is great. Workers (owner) are very nice. Interior was spotless. I think most people buy to-go. Regardless, place is spotless. Every time I travel down 31 I make a pit stop at Hot Rods when I'm headed home.
A nice hotdog place. The waffle fries were delicious and they had the best chili dogs I think I 've ever eaten. They actually have some kick to them and aren 't trying to pass off ground beef as being chili . Highly recommended.
Excellent service, no doubt. Atmosphere was fabulous. Ordered a traditional hotdog with minimal accoutrements. Humbly, I offer it was not what I expected. Having been raised in Chicago, ala Chicago Hot Dog tradition with all its variations—kind of came in with that expectation in mind. With all due respect, what I consumed was to me a plain off brand “hot dog”. Nothing to write home about, nothing notable nor spectacular. Again, no disrespect to the owner. Like anything else, we all create our own imaginations and expectations based on numerous points. For me, this did not meet with what I had formulated in my mind to be a good hot dog. : . All good. All colors for all, all tastes for all, all predispositions for all. All is well. Sending mucho Love to the owner of this establishment from my heart. It wasn’t for me. Thank you for allowing this opportunity to share. Xoxo
Owners are awesome. I got there a couple minutes early and they literally ran to the door to open up. Food was good and hot.
