Restaurant bewertenNestled upstairs between 7Eleven and another favorite spot of mine, Tokui Sushi on Lonsdale Street near Swanston Street, this hidden gem is a must-visit. I recently tried their lunch special and was blown away. Each table is equipped with a built-in BBQ unit and exhaust fans above, adding a unique touch to the dining experience. The modern decor offers private cubicles or a variety of table sizes to accommodate diners. The host was very friendly and welcoming. I opted for the Beef Bulgogi, which was served on a large Korean-style plate alongside steamed rice with hanakatsuo topping, a green leaf salad with black sesame dressing, kimchi, and the delicious beef bulgogi. The meat was flavorful and tender, and I enjoyed every bite of the meal. I can't wait to try out the other lunch specials, which range in price from $9.50 to $13.00.
I have never tried Korean cuisine or Korean BBQ before, but I decided to give it a try at a restaurant on Lonsdale Street in Melbourne CBD. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff, who gave us great recommendations. We opted for the Myeong-Ga Banquet, which was reasonably priced at $28 per person. The banquet included soup, salads, beef and pork, and dessert. Cooking the food at the table was a fun experience, although it was a bit slow. The aromas were amazing and the meat was delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic night out. Thank you to the staff at Myeong-Ga Madang.
Located upstairs between the 7Eleven and another all time favourite of mine, Tokui Sushi in Lonsdale Street near the corner of Swanston Street. This place is a hidden gem.I went here for the lunch special. This place is superb. Each table has a built in BBQ unit with exaust fans above each table. The decor is modern with private cubicles or a variety of table sizes to suit diners. The host was very welcoming.I chose Beef Bulgogi. It came on a very large korean style plate with steamed rice with hanakatsuo topping, a green leaf salad with black sesame dressing, kimchi and the beef bulgogi. The bulgogi was tasty and tender. I loved every part of this meal. I look forward to trying all the lunch specials which vary in cost between $9.50
I will start this review by saying I have never dined Korean or had a Korean BBQ before. While walking through the Melbourne CBD we decided to give a Korean BBQ restaurant in Lonsdale Street a try and were glad we did. The staff were friendly and helpful and the recommendations were very helpful. We decided on the Myeong –Ga Banquet and a $28p/p was very reasonable. The banquet included, soup, salads plus beef and pork and desert. The cooking process is carried out at the table and although slow the smells were amazing and the meat beautiful. All in all a great night out.Thank you Myeong-Ga Madang staff.
