High Society Cafe - Glen Eira

Parking is very difficult along High Street which is a shame - I ended up with a $159 fine grr. Had eggs benedict and ham hock - well presented but was quite bland. Ham had a bit of taste. Wife had porridge and was also bland, we gave the feedback when asked very politely. Coffee was good. Bit cramped for room as well. But a nice place.

Waitstaff really very friendly, efficient. Fast service too. Cappuccino was beautifully smooth. Had a small cake which was light and yummy. Impressed.

Great menu, Los of variations on the trendy green breakfast salad. I tried the eggplant with quinoa salad, others had the green brekky bowl which looked delcious. Smashed avocado also looked good. Loved the matcha latte - disappointed wasn't hot like I asked. Friendly waiters.

We made a booking online for breakfast for 12 people but when we arrived we were informed that our booking was in a different name to our bookings and for one hour later. We showed them the confirmation but they were extremely rude and un-accommodating and kept us waiting for 20 minutes with no communication as to what was happening. How can a cafe stuff up a booking made online when we had a confirmation to prove it???? Their reputation for good expensive food but hold up but bad service is unacceptable. We will never return.

Had breakfast here with friends, great interesting menu, fantastic coffee amazing service. Who could ask for more!
