Restaurant bewertenGennaro’s is my local chippie, and I think the most popular in my opposite. I would never have tried until a few months ago, where they started a brand new vegan menu! I must confess that I have been going there almost every week since. they have, sausage, fish, haggis and black pudding all in vegan shapes and cooked in separate keepers from the meat products. they also have a vegan burger that I did not try, but if it is something like the rest, then it is delicious. the chips are great, which is a wonderful bonus. it's great to see a local business start offering good vegan options, especially in a range where the choices can be missing. I hope they start to offer a vegan pizza crunch, that would be amazing!
I stumbled upon a surprising vegan menu here. I tried the "fish" dish, which was seasoned with seaweed for a salty kick.
We frequently visit this restaurant because they offer vegan versions of haggis, black pudding, tofish, and battered sausages, as well as burgers that I have yet to try. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.
I am a big fan of the vegan haggis and sausage sauces at this restaurant. The food is always fresh, with beautiful chips on the side. They use Naked Glory sausages for their sausage sauce.
Many vegan options, all cooked in a separate frit. I usually get the fish and the chips that are always a massive part.
