Flavours Marina - GLADSTONE CENTRAL

I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. We ordered hot chocolate, which was served lukewarm, and warm milk with our tea. Our main breakfast took 45 minutes to arrive, even though there were only three other tables occupied. We noticed the staff seemed to serve their own breakfast in front of us, which felt inconsiderate. Additionally, parts of our breakfast were missing, and the bacon and sausage tasted deep-fried, which was not what we expected. Given the amount we spent, it was a frustrating first visit. Even after everything was finally brought out, one item was still missing, which added to our disappointment. On a positive note, the staff was friendly enough. However, they mentioned that they only had one cook, which I found a bit amusing considering there were only two other customers besides us.

This restaurant boasts a stunning location right in the heart of a beautiful park, offering lovely views of the marina! There are various seating options available, including low tables on a spacious lawn (perfect for families with small children or dogs), a covered area for larger groups, umbrella-shaded tables for two, and a communal bench facing the water for singles or couples. The food is excellent; our favorites include the garlic shrimp on coconut rice and the fish burger, and the breakfasts are delightful as well. They also serve great coffee, and you can purchase a bag of beans to take home.

Been here many times to “Gladstones secret” and always had awesome service and great coffee best place to chill and enjoy the marina.
