Chicken Express - Gladewater

I enjoyed my new neighborhood chicken express. Did drive thru and very courtesy and I didn't wait long. Lady even made suggestions for my order which I bought also.

We love chicken express especially the sweet tea. Happy hour sweet you get a large for $0.50. Where else are you gonna find such a great deal especially in this economy. The chicken is always fried just right not a greasy mess. They have a large selection of sides which are all great in my families opinion. You can drive thru or eat inside. The staff is always friendly. The only reason for the deduction in any stars is because last time we went a family meal was around $35 which was enough to feed all 4 of us. I saw the price had gone up to $85. I understand inflation and this economy is terrible but I don't known many people who are able to.afford that for one meal .

Gladewater chicken express is by far my absolute favorite! Customer service is excellent super friendly! My favorite employee is one of the ladies she works the drive-thru! She ALWAYS ALWAYS makes sure I am 100% satisfied! I don’t even know her name but I know her as Hi sweet girl! Everytime she sees me she make sure she finds me in no matter if it’s my truck or I’m riding along with someone else! Just to say hey sweet girl!

I have always enjoyed this place. Ashley, the lady at the drive thru is always so polite and respectful. When she works there is never a wait in the drive thru. Very competent young lady. When she's not there the line always to the road. However, she's the best driver thru lady at any express I've eaten at. . thank you Ashley for all your hard work. And the food is as always excellent.

If I could give a negative rating I for would in a second!! Ordered food thru drive thru ,paid,was told to pull up,.... For like 20 something minutes! People behind me received their food pretty promptly. I back up and the wannabe manager comes to the window, finally and hands me a box.. he did apologize but I got home , they gave me like 5 pieces of fish instead of the 3, no sauce at all, macaroni and cheese had brown pieces . Looked like they scrounged around to get me outta there. I was displeased and probably should have been refunded.. this was total trash.. never going back to this place..
