Sakura - GIRDWOOD

The food was delicious! I wish they had a larger menu with other elements than sushi. there were no options for bento box except 1 item. I wish there were more because the Japanese pancake was good, but it wasn't what I believed in this day and it was just the one option. again it was delicious

I have tried to eat in sakura for the better part of 3 years, but my schedule never matched their hours of operation. this last trip to alyeska finally brought up something and we could eat here. I loved the environment and the service was exceptional! our waiter knew the menu inside and outside and even recommended a curse for our 3 years old, which was not on the menu. I have an alaska camp that is well paired with my king lachs sashimi. I also loved the spicy thunfish roll and the alyeska roll! the quality of the ingredients was excellent. we spent over $200 on a party of 6 that was not so expensive. our experience here was definitiw waiting. we look forward to the next time we can enrol here. many thanks sakura for a great meal!

Amazing! one of the better sushi experiences I had all over the world. put them on the bar and ask them simply the cook to make them his favorites, and they will not be disappointed! can not recommend this place enough

Not recommend the ramen. It doesn’t taste good at all. Wasted $20 bill for that one. Recommend Seaweed salad, Hawaii roll( cilantro inside, i like this one) miso soup(not recommend, $5 super small bowl without seaweed or tofu inside at all) Maguro sushi and unagi sushi are okay to try. Nothing different with other places. The service is very very slow and no checking on us except bring bills and waiting for tips. No refills our drinks either. This is super small restaurant. Make sure you are okay with sitting in a narrow spot and share the table with bunch of strangers. Never been to a Japanese restaurant like this. But overall, the food were not bad. Just don’t order the ramen, very Bad one. Not worth the money at all. If you want pork belly or chicken, it will be extra $8 or $9. So the ramen will cost you around $30 but with a very flavorless tasting.

The sakura was ok not great like the Katsura (former Name) It was an over priced benihana. Service was better at Denny's.
