Ok so just picked up an order. They call to say our order was ready. My friend sat at the fountain for 20 min plus not ready. Kind of a mish match of what we ordered. Everything with shrimp. Nothing what we ordered. I have...a deathly allergy to shell fish.

We are new to the Gimli area and were in the mood for Chinese food for dinner. We tried a few restaurants and didn't enjoy them, but then we discovered Comodo in Gimli and were very satisfied. The portions were large and the flavors were fantastic, from chicken dishes to beef and shrimp. The sweet and sour mixed duck was a standout. We would even say it compares to Four Seasons in Winnipeg, if not better. It's a great find to have such amazing food in a rural city, especially in the winter. This will definitely be our go-to spot for Chinese food from now on.

We were impressed by the selection of combos, as many foods were offered for a very good price. the food was well cooked and tasteful. it was a decent amount of food. the facility in the restaurant is also beautiful and. the service was good. the only thing I didn't care about in the restaurant was that the benches were sagging and super unpleasant to sit.

Compared to Winnipeg Chinese buffets, this ranks as the worst. No food. Cold. Lousy selection and expensive.
