Restaurant bewertenOn a wet and dreary Monday evening, we were pleased to see that this place was open. We squeezed into a table for 4 persons (why do most French restaurants always put their tables so uncomfortably close together? and studied the menu presented as large table mats. Our 8 year old was immediately given some crayons to draw with which was nice. We adults settled on a carafe of cider. The young waitress, whose first day of work today, seemed to have as much trouble as ourselves in negotiating the menu. We helped her out in understanding the special combination menus... In the end we went for the savoury galettes, mine with 4 shrimps and guacamole called Galette Tortuga . As dessert I elected for the Crepes cocos which was nice enough a crepes with chantilly cream, coconut ice cream, dark chocolate sauce and desiccated coconut sprinkled on top. All very nice. Service was a bit slow and quite erratic but we put this down to the young lady 's first day experiences. She was very friendly and polite if rather timid. We would certainly recommend that she gets some serious onboarding and training on understanding the menu... Oh, and I should have asked for an itemized bill at the end simply being asked to pay well over 80€ is not that professional. But it was my fault for not insisting... or shouldn 't this be automatic?
The staff is amazing. They are really nice and quality of the food is amazing. They have a beautiful restaurant. An amazing dinner experience O would definitely recommend it my family and I had awesome time.
A very busy restaurant with lovely staff, who incidentally spoke very good English. Crêpes were delicious and the beer was excellent too.
My wife and I had dinner here last night. We were very pleased with the food, the service, and the ambience. The server spoke perfect English and provide us with menus, also in English. The salad, buckwheat pancakes, and desert were all wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others, and plan to go back for another meal.
A busy dining room speaks well of this creperie. We enjoyed both lunch and dinner here, the latter time at a lovely table in the turret. Friendly and welcoming. At dinner we enjoyed a shared starter of foie gras and both savoury and sweet crepes were flavoursome. Good service from both waiters and we enjoyed chatting about Scotland with one of them. Do dine here if staying in Gif. It is also walkable from Le Moulin de Tuileries should you be staying there.
