El Mezcal - Germantown

Great meal, great service and great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.

We were very disappointing with the takeout meal we received on New Year?s Day. Since we live across the street from the restaurant we thought we would do business with a neighbor instead of cooking. When I called to discuss our displeasure with themeal the person who answered the phone hung up on me. I was not being rude, I just expressed my unhappiness with the meal thatwe received. It was a very disappointing experience.

Loved it. Not the best Mexican food but unpretentious with overflowing plates. Home run was the chicken tortilla soup and margaritas. I would return just for that. Salsa was tasty. Avoid, avoid, the guacamole. It was so unappealing, even the textureand color.

This is an average Mexican restaurant. The steak chimichangas were a bit small and didn’t come with refried beans. My wife's fajitas were good, though. Unfortunately, my draft beer was served at room temperature, even in a large mug. This was my first visit to this El Mezcal location, and we've generally had good experiences at the others.

After a long day at work, we decided to treat ourselves to some Mexican food, and it was a fantastic choice. The food was excellent and served quickly, as always. Today, we shared the Texanas Fajitas and a cheese dip, both of which were delicious. There was plenty of food, so we even had leftovers to take home for lunch tomorrow. Our server was attentive and made sure to check on us regularly. The restaurant does get busy during peak hours; we arrived around 5 PM and it was just starting to fill up. We will definitely be back for another visit!
