Le Chalet Au Bord du Lac - Gérardmer

It's simple, we wanted to test this restaurant on Tuesday 15 August 2017. We call to book an hour and a half before our arrival. On arrival, no reservation to our name! 25 minutes waiting to install us! personal who gets dressed by the boss! force them to call them so they take our order. After 1h30 waiting without being served with the ordered aperitif, we left! nothing to add...

Very good reception in a beautiful place, excellent location with a superb view of the lake and on gérardmer. clean room and bathroom, nickel cleaning, really nothing to say. full board restaurant with quality and regional products. I have seen on some opinions that the restaurant was lacking in choice, but at home I do not offer a "à la carte" meal. Get your feet under the table and be served with a smile, I say great! the staff is listening and very friendly. admired fireworks from our balcony, it's a real luxury! I really recommend this cottage where everything is perfect. we will come back in winter to discover this beautiful region of the snow underneath;-)

Bad experience for the service, our unique "cheese-charcuterie" choice tonight for us was correct but it is not worthy of a place this naming restaurant. Despite the few customers, the service was limited and the atmosphere was more disturbed than welcome and we paid as for a good restaurant! the place is yet great and eating on the terrace on the lake was very pleasant.

84 € for 3 hamburgers with desserts 2 coffees 2 bieres a quarter rosé the price is exaged on drinks and server desserts unique to the limit of panic for 20 people blatant lack of proffessionnalism, brief mixed reviews nothing has told about the quality of the products served we had eaten last year the barbecue formula or we had found nothing to say
